Product Ingredients.

Lets be honest. We love our pets. So when we decided to introduce supplements for dogs to Unleashed Energy product range, it had to be simply the best. Otherwise why else would we do it.

We use following ingredients in our products:

Vitamin C

Vitamin C can offer several potential benefits for dogs:

  1. Boosting Immunity: Like in humans, Vitamin C supports the immune system in dogs, helping to fight off illnesses and infections.
  2. Collagen Production: It aids in the synthesis of collagen, which is important for maintaining healthy skin, ligaments, tendons, and blood vessels in dogs.
  3. Antioxidant Properties: Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant, helping to neutralize harmful free radicals in the body that can contribute to aging and certain diseases.
  4. Wound Healing: It can assist in the healing process of wounds and injuries by supporting tissue repair.
  5. Reducing Stress: During periods of stress or illness, a dog’s body may require more Vitamin C than usual. Supplementing can help in these situations.
Glucosamine

Glucosamine is commonly used ingredient in veterinary medicine. It helps manage joint health in dogs, especially in cases of arthritis or joint pain. Here are some benefits:

  1. Joint Health: Glucosamine is a natural compound found in healthy cartilage. It helps in the formation and repair of cartilage, which cushions the joints. In dogs with arthritis or joint issues, glucosamine supplements can support joint health and potentially alleviate pain.
  2. Reduced Inflammation: It may help reduce inflammation in the joints, which is often a significant contributor to joint pain and stiffness.
  3. Improved Mobility: By supporting joint health and reducing discomfort, glucosamine can enhance a dog’s mobility and willingness to engage in physical activities.
  4. Slows Joint Degeneration: Glucosamine may slow down the progression of joint degeneration in dogs, particularly in senior pets or those prone to joint problems.
  5. Complementary Treatment: It’s often used in conjunction with other supplements like chondroitin sulfate or MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) for added joint support.
Chondroitin

Chondroitin is another popular ingredient used in veterinary medicine, often in combination with glucosamine, to support joint health in dogs. Here are its key benefits:

  1. Cartilage Support: Chondroitin is a natural component of cartilage. It helps in attracting and retaining water within the cartilage structure, which is essential for maintaining its elasticity and shock-absorbing properties.
  2. Joint Lubrication: It aids in the production of synovial fluid, which lubricates the joints, reducing friction between bones and promoting smoother joint movement.
  3. Inflammation Reduction: Similar to glucosamine, chondroitin has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce joint inflammation and alleviate pain associated with conditions like arthritis or joint injuries.
  4. Collagen Formation: It contributes to the formation of collagen, which is vital for the structural integrity of tissues in the joints.
  5. Synergistic Effect with Glucosamine: When combined with glucosamine, chondroitin can have a synergistic effect, providing more comprehensive support for joint health and potentially slowing down the progression of joint issues.
Omega-3

Omega-3 fatty acids offer several health benefits for dogs, particularly in supporting their overall well-being. Here are some of the key advantages:

  1. Healthy Skin and Coat: Omega-3 fatty acids, specifically EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), play a crucial role in maintaining healthy skin and a shiny coat. They help reduce itching, dryness, and flakiness while promoting a soft, lustrous coat.
  2. Reduced Inflammation: Omega-3s possess anti-inflammatory properties that can benefit dogs with conditions like arthritis, allergies, or inflammatory skin conditions. They can help alleviate joint pain and reduce inflammation, leading to increased mobility and comfort.
  3. Support for Heart Health: These fatty acids contribute to cardiovascular health by promoting good circulation, reducing blood pressure, and potentially lowering the risk of certain heart-related issues in dogs.
  4. Enhanced Cognitive Function: Omega-3s are essential for brain development and can support cognitive function in dogs, particularly in puppies and senior dogs. They may help improve memory, learning, and overall brain health.
  5. Support for Immune System: They can bolster the immune system, helping dogs fight off infections and illnesses more effectively.
Zinc

Zinc is an essential mineral that plays a vital role in various bodily functions for dogs. Here are some of its key benefits:

  1. Immune System Support: Zinc is crucial for a healthy immune system in dogs. It helps in the production of white blood cells, which are essential for fighting off infections and illnesses.
  2. Skin and Coat Health: Adequate levels of zinc are necessary for maintaining healthy skin and a shiny coat in dogs. It supports proper wound healing, aids in the repair of skin tissues, and can help alleviate skin conditions such as dermatitis or dry, flaky skin.
  3. Enzyme Function: Zinc is a component of several enzymes involved in various metabolic processes within the body. These enzymes play a role in digestion, cell repair, and overall metabolism.
  4. Reproductive Health: Zinc is important for proper reproductive function in both male and female dogs. It contributes to fertility, proper development of reproductive organs, and healthy pregnancy.
  5. Antioxidant Properties: Zinc acts as an antioxidant, helping to combat the damaging effects of free radicals in the body, which can contribute to aging and disease.
